Saturday December 25, 2:56 p.m.

Well, I've reached the halfway point of my trip back home. It's been good being back in T.O....seeing the old friends and family. I certainly haven't shirked on the food; I'll probably mortify the gym staff when I get back with the amount I'll gain. Weatherwise, it's definitely Xmas-like. Earlier in the week, Toronto got smacked with an Extreme Cold Advisory. We smashed a record in the form of a -37-degree wind chill. It's been a long time since I felt that sort of burning cold. Looks like the old homefront back in Japan has been OK. Chipmunk has kept a good eye on the apartment and GC will be headed there soon enough.

I went out with my brother and his wife to attend the Xmas service at their church. The usual sermon and songs. Then we hit a dim sum place; we tried to hold off on having huge amounts since we've got the turkey dinner in a few hours. In the past couple of hours, I've come to a decision about what to do with my future.

Next week is still open for me so I've gotta get started on buying those souvenirs. Hopefully, Boxing Day won't be too nuts. Well, the stuff I'll be getting can be bought at the mall across the street so it won't be too painful.
